ESG course for Legal Counsels
We are pleased to announce that House will organize the ‘ESG course for Legal Counsels’ course in the autumn of 2024, with Nienke Schroots as teacher. Corporate legal departments are increasingly asked to advise on Environmental, Social & Governance (‘ESG’) issues. Consider: ESG reporting obligations, ESG policy documents, ESG risks, ESG contractual clauses and sustainability claims. The ESG playing field is broad and developing at a rapid pace.
In-house legal counsel, who often have to deal with increasingly complex tasks, often struggle to keep up with developments in the ESG field. This practical ESG course has been developed for in-house legal counsel who want to become acquainted with ESG and who are looking for practical tools to apply in their daily advice to companies and business partners. The ESG course is given at a beautiful location on the Amsterdam canals (Garden House) and in an informal setting, where there is plenty of room for exchange of experience and mutual dialogue.
